my mom was on kadian 30 extended release and they swithched her to mscontin 30 and they dont helpo her inthe slightest the only wire her and make her feel sick what is the differance and what does the word contin itself mean
the active drug, morphine sulfate, is the same kadian is dosed once(or twice) a day ms contin is dosed twice (or 3) times a day.
the faster release of morphine could be the cause of feeling bad
