Exclamation Isotretinoin

Has anyone been prescribed this medication for severe acne. I started this treatment in January, took this for seven months. I was aware of the side effects like depression, dry lips, severe headaches, joint pain. I became very frustrated and angry one day, which scared me, so from that day I stopped taking them. And now for the past 2months I have severe pains in both knees, which won't seem to go away. With me being a postlady, my GP says its down to that. Also my teeth are severly decaying, I am forever at the emergency dentist in pain. I just managed to see my own dentist, just this week. He is not sure has to why they are as bad as they are. He said the roots in my teeth are dyeing and the teeth seem healthy???
He said my mouth is dry so I am not producing any salvia to kill any bacteria. I have three more 30minute appointments with him in January. I believe this is all effects from taking this medication. If I had known this in January I wouldn't have started the tablets. I am 37years old and walk like I am 70, and the teeth will be the same. Can anyone tell me if they or anyone they know have had anything like this.???

drug aside you paint the picture of some more auto-immune type dysorders. sjogren's syndrome? Rheumatoid Arthritis? but i don't advise looking those up and running to your GP.

it is possible to get this from the medication. from what i read the muscle problems on isotret should go away in 2 months. i would think that the dry mouth would also stop after you stop the medication
