Info/Experiences With Actiq I am looking for any info/experiences on Actiq ranging from behavior, mood, symptoms, withdrawal signs, too much used signs of and effects.
Thanks -
I've never used Actiq, all of it's effects are similiar to all narcotic pain medications.
Behaviour/mood - relaxed, euphoria, sedation
symptoms - sedation, sometimes hyper activity, pupil miosis (constriction), sometimes loss of apetite, libido, ED, constipation
OD - sedation, unconciousness, sweating, slurring, stupor
W/D - diarrhea, flu symptoms i.e runny nose, aches/pains, etc. cravings, chills, RLS.
You may learn more just reading this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Actiq http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narcotic

This is difficult to answer without knowing anything about the patient. An opiate tolerant patient reacts quite differently to opiates then a non-tolerant patient.More info is needed to make a educated call on this post......Dave -
I would be very careful with this drug. Actiq is only supposed to be prescribed to cancer patients ... thats it. In addition, there is a law firm filing Actiq side effect / addiction cases all over the country. Here is the http://www.schmidtandclark.com/Actiq/
