hey everyone i have a question about hydrocodone tolerance and how quickly it builds if someone has been taking about 45 mg for three days for pain will that same dose be as noticable and still provide the same amount of analagesia on the forth or does tolerance build that quickly?

everyone is different when it comes to tolerance.I had a tolerance to opiates before I even took them as right from day 1 I needed at least twice the amount prescribed.What type of pain matter's too.There are alot of factors but I would say that after only 3 days on a small amount like 45mgs that tolerance wouldn't be a factor.If this person has had opiates before or has been abusing or did abuse at one time then they would tend to have a higher tolerance than a opiate naive patient....Dave
