Hey guys. My sister takes
suboxone for her vicodin addiction, she's been taking it for I think a year now, sometimes she can go for weeks without taking it, it's working that well for her. I suffer from chronic pain and have been taking vicodin off and on for the last 2 years, but lately it's been pretty much every day, 5mg/500, usually 2 at a time, up to 6 to 8 a day. I'm realizing now that I need more and more to get the same pain relief I would get with just taking one or two a day. My sister let me try her suboxone. I know that's bad, should not share medications, but I was out of vicodin and in a lot of pain(thankfully I have an appt with a new pain dr. Monday). Anyway, I did have some vicodin this past week, and I took 4 today, 2 in the am and then 2 more later that afternoon. Then tonight I took the suboxone, it was about 8 hours afte rmy last vicodin. At first I started feeling much better, then about an hour later, I got real nauseous and only felt better while lying down, no vomiting thank God. I'm also having trouble sleeping, even though I took an
ambien. Should I not take the suboxone so soon after taking the last vicodin? In some ways it really is helping with my pain and making me feel so much better, I don't even want anymore vicodin right now! But on the other hand, I have a headache, and I'm still a little nauseous and very tired. Is this all because I took one suboxone on the same day as taking vicodin? And will this one pill not allow the vicodin I may take later to not work anymore? I'm so confused. Thanks for any input.
