Saw your post on Lamictal which was prescribed to me for Neuropathy. I tell you that was one bad drug for me! I couldn't concentrate, keep my eyes open but I could still hear what people were saying to me, I had double plus blurred vision. I couldn't operate well enough to even drive myself somewhere. Everyone has different side affects from meds so I hope you are one of the lucky ones that can take this med. For me, it was a nightmare. Wishing you luck!

I've been taking Lamictal for 2 years now for seizures. Was initally prescribed Dilatin. That stuff put me in a waling coma: stuttered, stumbled, slept every time I sat down. Dr. told me that the change from Dilatin to Lamictal would be a two week switch over until I reached theraputic levels, but I could tell the difference within 24 hrs. It was like waking up.
I take 100mG AM/PM and 60 mG Propanolol AM. I haven't had dental problems for nearly 10 years. Now I've had 3 root canals in the last 18 months and another tooth just cracked. Anyone know of any side dental side effects for either of these drugs? -
Lamictal was a horrible drug for me also, I had severe side effects while on it. I'll never take it again, it seems you either love it or hate it- there's no in between. I'm now on Abilify & it's really helping.
