there are books you can buy (such as the compendium of pharmacopia) that have all colored pictures of a lot of different pills.
i just saw one at a book store called chapters that was just about pills but i can't remember the title of that one.
also go to your local pharmacy and ask the pharmacist on duty they would probably
be able to help. -
Ciba 7 is Methylphenidate 5mg
Generic Ritalin made by Ciba
E 4 grey is Hydromorphone 4 mg made by Ethex

E 2 blue is also Hydromorphone but 2mg
ETH 315 is oxycodone 5mg also made by ethex

Hey, this can be a risky thing. What if you get someone to wrongly verify your pill and consume it accordingly? I think it would be better if you go to your nearest drug store alongwith your pills to identify. -
Well dutchman, I do appreciate your concern, but there are several of us on this site who specialize, for one reason or another, in just this sort of thing. Stallion, Kirby, Robo, and myself, spend hours researching pills and identifying them.
Yes, occasionally there are mistakes made, but if you look around the pill ID forum, and double check the information we provide, you will find that most of it is accurate. Most pharmacists cannot identify every pill you might carry in the door, as there are so many OTC drugs and generics available, that is impossible for them to keep track of them all and still get their jobs done.
And I have had actual pharmacists email me, to find information or ID a pill that they were unable to find. verwon@gmail.com
My information is not guaranteed correct. I do not get them right all the time, but I do enjoy the hunt~
