I'm having anxiety/panic attacks all day it seems and the Dr. keeps giving me anti depressants because well i am depressed but its like the anxiety is the bigger promblem....everything he has givin me makes me feel worse.....lexapro/celexa/effexor/hydroxzine and i am on buspar now.....this stuff makes me feel worse then the others....i really am just panic all day i dont know what to do because nothing seems to work....im not looking for benzo's because i know how they are but i believe thats what will help he just wont give me them.....until i go throgh every other non-addictive drug there is...the only reason i think those will work is because i am taking 2.......7.5 vicodin every morning just to relieve stress/anxiety....thats all i take all day is just the 2 so i really dont think thats my probloem....any advice PLEASE!

Just to be clear on what you wrote :
You say your dr is writing you everything but "addictive" meds first. What are you taking the 2 vicodin every morning for??? Well better yet did the same dr write it for you??
Doesn't sound like the entire story.
If you are taking the vicodin for stress it could be the major cause of your problems thru-out the day.
Good luck & just from my experience the benzo's will cause you even more problems / serious problems if you are having trouble now...

no im taking the vicodin for kidney stones....but they seem to help with anxiety/panic attacks more then everything else that has been givin to me,so I end taking them more. and yes the same doctor is giving me them as well as all the anti-depressants. Which so far all the anti-dep. seem to do is make me worse as in side effects to the point to where i cant take them. and also i have been dealing with the "attacks" my whole life just seems to have gotten alot worse since i stoped smoking "mary J" which was 2-3 months ago now.also them seem to have gotten worse with age maybe stressed indussed? im not necessarly looking for benzo's its just ive taking alot of drugs in my life and those seemed to have helped even though to be completly honesnt i hate them. and as far as the vicodin goes i quit approx a month ago because i thought that was the problem and or i had a problem and was cleen for weeks withough any w/d what so ever....so i doubt its that.....which is why i am looking for help from people who may feel the same as me.
