heart meds with psych meds in elderly

My 80 year old mother needed various heart meds to treat atrial fib.(verapamil, atenelol, digoxin) after a recent hospitalization. She had also been on seroquel and remeron to treat depression and appetite loss. On the day the heart meds were started she developed severe and regular anxiety (every 15 min.) and insomnia.

She has since had a pacemaker implanted and an av node ablation, but the anxiety has not been relieved. I am searching for info about these combinations. She has always been highly sensitive to meds.What could be going on?

It is possible that the dig. is too high. She needs to be tested. Also she is 80 and going through a rough time that may be causing hte anxiety I would discuss this with her MD.
