Yep, a "low grade" headache describes it perfectly. As I recall, when I started taking
Wellbutrin my experience was that the headache (which seems to be a common side effect of the medication) went away sometime during the second or third week of treatment. One other early side effect I remember having was difficulty falling asleep, but that also went away within the first few weeks. I have been on Wellbutrin for just over a year and my perception is that it has helped lessen my depression quite well. Best of luck to both your son and his caring mother.
