[B]hi everyone i just went to my neuro yesterday for the 1st time and he gave me zanaflex for nightime 4 mg i took it at around 6 pm yesterday and it did nothing for me i was up till about 230 am climbing the walls in pain...he also gave me neurontin for pain 300mg 1xs a day for 5 days then 2xs a day for the rest...Welll this didnt do a thing for me at alll last night and i took another pill at 6 am today and im still feeling nothing ..Should this work or what? I have bulging discs in c5/6 and severe muscle spams along with severe neck pain my left arm is in alot of pain and my left thumb index and middle finger are numb....Any suggestions on what to do??????

I have taken Neurontin, Pickles. Right now I'm up to 3600mg a day. What your Doctor is doing is slowly buiding up your body's ability to receive higher dosages of Neurontin. That's the way it's done, or else you'd be running into walls and falling down, etc. Hang in there. You might ask your Dr. for a script for something to help you get some sleep at night. They won't volunteer drugs to you, you have to ask for them. Who'd figure? They've got their own ways and expect you to figure them out. God's Blessing.

yea i called him back and he upped dosage from 300 to 1200 i took another 600 today and now i am experinecing very bad nausea and vomiting and diarehha is this a side effect? And its still not working
