Half a Vicodin

Is it safe take vicodin cut in half [?] ( i have trouble swallowing a whole pill)

I would imagine that it would be safe since it's not like a Oxy (or other sustained released (SR's) med that distinctly says not to break or chew them due to the "HUGE AMOUNT" of drug that would be released upon doing so.

I have done this in the past with all type of Hydro's and have NEVER had a problem. I also imagine the pills have a "score line" thats there for just this reason THOUGH, don't quote me on this since I am NOT a doctor.
