Default halcion

My dentist has prescribed 5 halcion tablets for me to take 30 minutes before my appointment to have work done on my teeth...Everyone i have talked to says i might not wake it..it does seem like a really large dose...they are .25 milligrams..please respond soon as my appt. is 8/25 thank you

Yes the dose is well over double a very large dose. However, this med is a benzodiazepine and is not fatal in overdose unless it is combined with alcohol or some other sedative (barbiturates etc..). I would call the office and question the dose....

Thank u Dr. S. for your quick reply..I have decided to take 2 on the way there and take the rest of them with me and give to the doctor..i have a high tolerance to pain meds so maybe that is why i was prescribed so many. i appreciate your response
