Default Hair test for tylox/codene--please reply thank you

I suspect a loved one is on pain killers. I want them to take a hair
test for this. Will this show up on a hair test if they quit for 5-7 days? Please advise.

Just to clarify, none of the drugs containe codiene or would trigger a test for codiene or morphine.
Xanax and valium are sedatives in the benzodiazapine class, they are chemaclly unrelated to opiates are have different applications. a test for benzodiazapines would reveal valium or xanax use. Tylox contains oxycodne as it's narcotic ingredient (mixed w/ Tylenol). Oxycodone is a narcotic but is not metabolised into codiene or morphine (which are the two chemicals tested for in standard opiate urine tests). oxycodone is certainly possible to test for w/ a hair test, but would require a specific test rather than a generic "opiate screen" to detect it.
