I am switching from Prozac to Wellbutrin XL. Can I just start taking Wellbutrin tomorrow morning and just stop taking Prozac? Thanks, Kim

I went off the prozac 2 weeks ago (sexual side effects) onto Wellbutrin 150 xl. I stoped the Prozac on a Thursday and took the wellbutrin Friday night. per suggestion that wellbutrin should be taken in the mornings, I took anotehr pill Saturday morning.I think the huge does too close together caused me to get a allergic reaction. I broke out in a rash all over. I stoppped taking Wellbutrin and I did not get back on any medication for a week. My DR prescribed Celexa, but I didnt want to go back on a SSRI. After the week ( I was nauseouse a lot) I went back on Wellbutrin and noticed that although the rash went away, I would get a little quarter sized patch on my wrists once in a while. I have kept on it and have gotten less and less of a rash. The same thing happened when I had upped my does of Prozac from 20mg to 40 mg. I broke out into a rash but I did not associate it to the increase in dosage. I had eventually been able to get rid of therash with the Prozac as well..... So far I have had crying fits everydat. I think I am still in limbo as I waited a week before getting back onto the wellbutrin. Anyone else have a similar situation?
