Default glaucoma

My father is 90 years old and is legally blind. He has had two heart attacks. He says that he should be taking Timoptic for glaucoma pressure. Medco is sending Alphagan (Allergan) and he is concerned that it is the wrong medicine. Are they interchangeable for glaucoma pressure? What is the risk of using Alphagan over Timoptic. Thaks, Milt Wolf

these are two different eye meds. From what I read they are not interchangable. You may want to contact your MD or pharmasist
