I need some help here FAST!!! Briefly I've been taken Pain medication for 7 years I had a fushion on my lower back done (4 bolts, 6 screws,etc.and now left with nerve damage that will NOT go away! The doctor gave me oxycontin 20mg. on and off since the begining switched with Methadose 10mg. I was told to be careful mixing the methadose 120 10mg. & oxycontin 90 20mg. each month. I only took the methadose when I rarely needed it which was very rare because the oxycontin worked fine.
Now heres my PROBLEM! The doctor just STOPPED the oxycontin period! and switched me to Methadose 60 40mg. to take one every 12 hours. These pills are the size of Quarters!
It's only been 1 day since the change from NO oxycontin to just methadose I'm scared of what might happen (hopefully nothing) But I told the doctor I wanted to keep the oxycontin if a had a choice rather then the methadone which I really never needed to take anyway. I would simply flush the methadose down the toilet because I had bottles of the stuff left over each month. At the moment I'm sweating (my hands) and feel pretty much on EDGE a bit shakey as well.
