I got some ephedra pills the other day. Anyways the instructions were to take one or two pills. I emptied out half the powder from one capsule and took equivalent to half a pill. After an hour the symptoms of cold disappeared, and I felt a speedy effect. I than smoked half a ciggerete which probably added to the effect. Anyways I started to feel my heart was going crazy and I was feeling hot inside so I went to the walk-in-clinic. They told me my blood pressure was 180. I was wondering whether my reaction to ephedra was normal and I can continue to take it to ease my cold and get some energy, or whether what happened means that it's not for me. Any answers would be appreciated.
