I was originally prescribed (PROPO-N/APAP TAB 100-650) which I know is Darvocet, with the 650 being tylenol. The dr. stopped prescribing these when just taking one in the am and aggravated my high blood pressure and i need a klonopin just to bring me down,

I've read that these Darvocets are useless and may soon be dicontinued. A few questions.

a. what is in the 100 equation? because now i am taking
ENDOCET TAB 10-650MG which i know is generic Percocet and hear is much stronger than darvocet. What is in the 10 equation?

b. i find i have to take triple the amount ENDOCET TAB 10-650MG to reach the pain relief?

i find this whole oxycocode, oxycotin, hydro, metho, etc very confusing could omeone breakdown is simple terms pertaining to my meds.

Any suggestions I should discuss with my Dr., the generic co is endo pharm.

You should always discuss your concerns with the doctor.Darvocet is propoxyphene with apap(Tylenol).The 10 is reference to 10mgs of propoxyphene and 650mgs of apap(tylenol).Percocet or endocet is oxycodone with apap(tylenol).SO endocet 10-650 is 10mgs of oxycodone with 650mgs of apap.
Propoxyphene is a useless narcotic with very little pain killing strength.One argument is that the tylenol in darvocet is doing 90% of the pain killing while the propoxyphene is doing 10%.
Oxycodone is much stronger then propoxyphene and quite mind altering,very addictive.....Dave

if there is only 10 is reference to 10mgs of propoxyphene, what is the other 90..ie 100/650???
