Default elavil and ambien together

Does anyone know if taking a 25 mg. elavil and a 10 mg. ambien is too much at bedtime? I have been taking ambien everynight and just got elavil prescribed also.

Taking Elavil and Ambien together may cause extra drowsiness, dizziness or confusion, and because drugs affect individuals differently, you won't really know how they affect you until you take them together.
Elavil alone may cause drowsiness, so if you find that you are feeling particularly tired or "hungover" in the morning, it might be worth talking to your doctor about changing the Ambien dose.

Yikes, I took the ambien and the elavil last night and I had antsy 'jimmy legs' all night. I felt like I was coming out of my skin. When I had to go to the ladies room I bumped into everything in the path. Definately not a good decision to take both. I don't think I will ever even try the elavil again.
