I was on lexapro for about two months and then was switched to effexor for sexual side effect reasons. The effexor did not help any with the sexual side effects...After a week of taking the effexor, my doctor said to stop taking my medication for a week to see if the sexual side effects wore away, they did. Now that I am off my medicine, I feel a lot better mentally, but physically i have the zaps... Any help to tell me how long these will last would be greatly appreciated. Any helpful tips that I can do to help subside these impulses..thanks a lot.
