Default Effexor xr info

My b/f was just giving effexor xr and dosent' know much about it. We have been looking on sites for info on it and get alot of bad reviews. I am wondering if anyone has any info on it and maybe if they have something to suggest instead of these pills. He doesn't take alot of pills usually and just got this for anxioty (sorry spelling). I am on celexa for my depression and anxioety and also take a sleeping pill triazalam.
If anyone has some experience with these could you plse let me know. thanks

bad bad bad bad experience with effexor ...... It is true... it has a looong halflife which makes it total hell to get off of. I was on it for only 4 months and had major withdrawl symptoms. Yes it is badddd! They finally gave me prozac after 4 days of total hell on earth to wean me off of the effexor. Prozac has a short halflife so it doesnt stay in your system as long. It worked and finally I go off prozac too. My husband took wellbutrin and it really helped him and now he takes nothing but it also helped him lose weight. go figure?

Hey thanks for the info he has stoped takeing them didnt really even start. they gave him celxia like I take but only gave him half dose. He has been looking into alot of reading to find out more about this. He is also being tested for sleep apnea and we have seen it says that if he has sleep apnea he should never take triazolam. It read that maybe he is going through withdrawls from the sleeping pill now that he has stoped takeing it. It was my perscription. It has also be banned in the uk for alot of reasons. Memory loss etc. I have had none of these probs but everyone is diffrent. I also used to take prozac and found they didn't work for me. I still have lots left because I stoped takeing them.

thanks for your info [^]
