Hi. Please could anybody help with my tapering off Effexor Xr. I am also on 19mgs of Diazepam but found a lot of people have problem's
tapering Diazepam as well, have to do one or the other. Did any of you taper XR or 37.5 ordinary tablet's.
The Effexor XR is very stimulating and that is the problem.

of coarse everyone is different on taking medications. I took effexor XR a a while back. When I was tapering off, I was at 140mg (or two 75 tablets a day) by the time I got down to taking 37.5 I took it for a week and then stopped from there. You might want to talk to your doctor though. This is just my expierence with effexor. I hope that I have helped in some way.
