I'm currently taking Effexor Xl 75mg and trying to go down to 37.5 and boy it has just about done me in. I want o go off of this medicine and I know I have to go off slowly but it is very very hard. Please send me any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

I was on that as well - 150 mg - and quit cold turkey. I will tell ya, my brain didn't appreciate that very much. It was like I was getting electric shocks and oh it was just terrible. To ween off is the only way to go. I don't reccomend doing it the way I did.
