Default Effexor info

Hi, I was wondering if I should continue using Effexor XR

I am currently on a low dosage (37.5mg/once a day) I looked over the side effects, and is it normal to have ALL of them? I also am experiencing eye pain, wierd tremors and cold sweats (I feel sort of like Im on MDMA but not exactly) tunnel vision, I feel cold all the time, is this normal?

Any help would be appreciated, I just started the drug too so I know my doctor will tell me to wait it out a bit.

Also, anyone know if this drug is safe to have with alcohol. I don't drink, but just wondering. thanks!

You should NOT feel like you're on mdma (ecstacy) while taking effexor. No you shouldn't have ALL the side effects ... that is obvious.

I can't tell you whether you should continue taking it. Don't know your medical history. But I would certainly talk to the dr about your symptoms. At least call the nurse. If you tell them you are feeling like you're tripping on ecstacy I would imagine that they would ask you to come in.

Effexor side effects usually do lighten up some after a couple weeks. But I don't know that you should be feeling like you're on ecstacy. And no you shouldn't drink alcohol with effexor or other similar meds. God bless.
