Default On Effexor

I have been on Effexor for about 7 months. I didn't like the side effects so I am tapering off. I went from 75mg down to 37mg and now taking half of that. I have been taking this for 3 weeks now and still feel horrible.(dizzy, very tired, out of it, horrible dreams)I take this at the same time every day. I just want to feel better! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hey there i myself have been on effexor for about 3 years and am not getting off because it is time for me to go on a new one. Mind you I love it it really worked. The thing is for this drug is it takes a while to really work but once it does believe me it does. When you stop taking a antidepressent it normally takes between 4-6weeks before you start to feel better. I hope that this helps somewhat and sorry that it never worked for you.
