Duragesic Patch fell off

I just started A duragesic Patch and when taking a shower it fell off. I called the pharmach and they said I have to apply a new one. My doctor's office just said to reapply it with some kind of adhesive tape as my doc will not give me anymore. Has anyone had experience with this. Bipolar

I think useing some sort of medical tape would be the best way to go as that way you will not fall behind on how many patches you have and accidentally run out early which I'm sure would not be much fun.
