Question Drug Test

Will hydrocodone cause an opiate reaction on a drug test? I have a valid script. Also will poppyseed muffin eaten day of test cause the positive opiate result. I had no reason to worry about this test and the positive result floored me. Can anyone give me any feedback?

Hydrocodone is included in the opioid panel in drug tests. The tests are so accurate now, poppy seeds shouldn't register a false positive, even if it did it would probably be mistaken for morphine or codeine, the only true opiates.

Soma/carisoprodol is a muscle relaxer. It's normally used with physical therapy to help with muscle injuries and conditions. Soma is not a scheduled Federal Controlled Substance but can cause dependence and impairment. It will not show on a standard five panel drug test.
