I am a 37 year old male in great shape, but needed an antibiotic for a minor throat irritation. I was given this medication and after taking it for about a week I noticed my testicles have increased substantially in size and are sore...especially on the left. Is this a possible side effect of the medication since nothing else has changed in my diet? The only other med that was prescribed at the same time was Zephrex-LA (which is for loosening of the phlem). I am going to dicontinue taking the meds for a couple days to see if this helps, but wondered if anyone knew about this medication and if this was an unheard of reaction. It can't be any kind of STD because my fiance and I have been together for almost 3 years without other contact by either of us. Any assistance would be appreciated.
