    Hi Everyone...

    I am having a debate with a friend of mine. This person SWEARS that his doctor gave him a script for 5 mg Oxys. I don't think Oxy's come in 5's...I thought they started at 10's. My guess is my friend has 5mg OXYCODONE.

    Anyone know for sure whos right here...Me or my dear friend...HA HA HA. If he's right I owe him $5.00 !!!

    I think that what your friend has is the immediate release oxy, which comes in a 5 mg tablet. The 10 mg Oxy you are talking about is a time release tablet. They have the same active ingredient, they just are released in your system differently.

    Oxycontin is available in a 5mg, but I think only Canadian, its described as:
    Round, biconvex, pale blue, film-coated tablet with OC on one side and 5 on the other.

    I guess you lost $5
