Dilaudid is a very powerful narcotic, but it is not MS contin. It is hydromorphone, related to hydrocodone but much stronger. dilaudud is also not a continous release but rather an instant release that comes in 2 and 4 mg units. a continous release hydromorphone is in development and will be availiable this year. It is called pallidone, and it will make Oxycontin seem like codiene.
