Differences between Amlodipine I have been taking Amlodipine(Norvasc) 5MG for about little over a month. I got a refill/ new script for the same thing. The bottles are identical with the exception of amount of pills in bottles. My question is why are the two pills different looking but still the same drug. Both are Generic. One is Tiny, about the size of a birth control pill, round white with APO/ AML 5 and the other is small blue with M/A9. Is it just different manufactures or what? I looked both up on identifier and they both came up the same info. Any thoughts?

APO AML5 is made by Norvasc Vintage, while M A9 is made by Norvasc Mylan or Norvasc
UDL (both make it), as you know both are Amlodipine Besylate 5 mg, they're made by different subsidies of Norvasc, they make them different to distinguish them apart, why not just make one? Maybe it has to do with distribution, or other agreements made with trade companies, each other, or suppliers, who knows for sure?
