Question difference?

Can you tell me what the difference between hydrocodone and oxycodone is? I have severe Peripheral Neuropathy and wondered if there is much difference and which may work better?

To keep it very simple and non-technical hydrocodone is a fast acting pain med. It's mixed with acetaminophen when RXd. Oxycodone is a much stronger pain med and can be mixed with acetaminophen as in percocets or can be RXd by itself. Oxy can be RXd in either a fast acting or time released form. Hope that helps. God bless.
