Maalox is an antacid, itâs active ingredients are alumina and magnesia. This kind of meds are mainly prescribed for hyperacidity in GI tract. Maalox can cause diarrhea as a side effect, but it's not indicated for constipation. Why wouldn't she try laxatives? There are many different types of these drugs. |
