Default Dexamethasone Side Effects

Two weeks ago, I was experiencing dizziness and nausea. ENT put me on a predisone pack which helped that week. A couple of days later, my symptoms returned, and he prescribed 9 days of dexamethasone (2 mg), with the usual tapered dosage. I finished these two days ago, but I've got a lot of strange side effects.

My face is red, and it seems to vary when I eat. My face and neck have also swelled to the point where I just look strange. When I eat, my stomach gets bloated, so much so it makes my ribs sore. I'm not a sickly person, and I can only conclude this all came about from the prednisone. The problem is that it is not going away.

Is this normal? It seemed like a low dose, and I don't understand why I'd look like I have Cushing's syndrome from such a short stent on these pills.
