Default This is to Dave, Verleen and other good people

Hey guys first i'd like to thank all of you ( you know who you are ) for always helping me with questions i have by the way my name is Sean and I am studying to be a pharmicist and without your help i would be left with alot of missing information that I have needed. Also I really appriciate you guys sharing your personal experience and whatnot. What I wanted to talk about though is how annoying it gets when people come on the forum asking questions on how to abuse drugs to get high and i'm sure you all know what I am talking about and I think we should all try to stop these people ( many of them are notorious just for using this forum for abuse questions ) from abusing the site by from now on simply not answering they're questions. For example next time someone posts a topic asking about how to get high from a med I think we should just not reply or reply telling them this is not what the site is used for and that they should not use it if they will just be asking those kind of questions. If you guys think this is a good idea reply back. And thanks agian for always being so helpful you guys really are good people.

Thanks!

Hi Sean - Yea, I'd agree with you re. your concerns what amounts to giving advice on getting high. problem is...some of these are obvious but some .....well, you just don't know. I just posted my first question simply asking for a comparison between brand and generic Oxycontin. Mine is an honest question dealing with my desire to get the most for my money. Note that I did not ask anout crushing the pills or any of the stuff I refer to as obvious abuse questions. I guess I'm taking too long to just ask...aside from the obvious how can we be sure? Dennis

That's the advice I usually try to give, I think it's better to admonish a post then to ignore it, that only leaves it open for someone else to answer in a wrong way, usually after an admonishment is made, it won't be followed up by abuse advice.
Actually, since those kinds of question are against the sites rules and guidelines it's actually better to report them to the DDC Mod for deletion, and I do it all the time.

Hi Sean,I agree too.I usually don't reply to those posts but the odd time I see a cry for help and respond.I think we all are pretty good at weeding out the bad apples so to speak.Actually this board is pretty good really.I think we have all done a great job into moldong this forum, although it wasn't our or my intention it just worked out that way.I'm here to try and help people with drug addictions and along the way I have met some great people and have witnessed some great success stories.....Dave
