I had hell finding this anywhere. I found one pharmacy that had it. Does anyone know why hardly anyone has it?

Maybe because you have brand name Darvocet made by Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals instead of the generic (Propoxyphene Napsylate/Acetaminophen), and so few people or insurance Co's pay the brand name price it isn't stocked? Maybe because Darvocet is usually 100/650mg, and yours is 500mg?
side note-
Darvocet may be phased out in the very near future.

it wasn't that they didn't have generic, because i pay cash. no insurance. ****py. but they didn't have it. not name brand or generic. i finally found it, and it makes me sick as hell. i'll probably have to call and get something else.

that darvocet **** sucks, it doesnt even work, there are many medical documents explaining why darvocet may not even be effective in killing pain!!

The FDA even admits it's less effective then Tylenol.

Propoxyphene is a very poor opiate pain killer and I have read the same were it states that tylenol is more effective.No one orders it anymore up here that I know of.A useless drug really......Dave

darvocet is usually prescribed to the elderly because they can't tolerate the stronger narcotics.
