Is there a darvocet500? Is this a new thing because ive never heard of anything past 100 in darvocet. Anyone?Please respond...thanx also ive heard that darvocet takes longer to treat the pain than other opiates. is that true?

Darvocet A500 is the name for a new formulation of acetaminophen and propoxyphene. Darvocet A500 contains 100 mg propoxyphene napsylate and 500 mg acetaminophen. Darvocet-N 100 contains 100 mg propoxyphene napsylate and 650 mg acetaminophen.

Darvocet A500 is basically the same combo drug with less acetaminophen.
