Default Darvocet????

Hey all, a friend of mine recently got prescribed darvocet and she has a really addicting personality and I was wondering if you all could give me as much information as possible. My biggest concern is the option of snorting the prescription. Is that possible?? Well I would really appreciate any help and advice you could give me.

Thanks all-
amanda

Yes you can snort it but I wouldn't worry if she's only got 1 prescription.Darvocet (propoxyphene and tylenol) is a very weak narcotic but none the less is addictive if abused long enough.Just keep an eye on her......Dave

Finally my pain is under control!!!!!!!

My mother just got prescribed Darvocet and she read the info and she's a very leary of taking anything that is addictive.I told her just don't take it every day.Im not sure if she is going to take it because she hates all drugs that are addictive as do I.She has bad back problems as do I but I just exercise and strengthen my abs and lower back.Exercise is really the only long term solution for back pain.

thank you both for your advice. MVPT, how did you get your pain under control? Do you have any advice on a great technique besides working out?
Thanks again,
Amanda

There are dangers if she snorts it though by crushing the pills, there are fillers in it that are normally meant to be discarded from your body, by snorting you force these fillers into your nasal and sinus cavities which can cause blockages and problems.

Unfortunately, exercise is not the only, and best solution for everyones back pain.

My information is not guaranteed correct. I do not get them right all the time, but I do enjoy the hunt~

After 22years of taking every narcotic there is I tried methadone 3 years ago and haven't looked back.I don't advise most people to get on methadone because it requires a long term commitment.....Dave

Finally my pain is under control!!!!!!!

But isn't methadone an addictive drug as well? I don't want my friend to have an addiction, that is the problem with all of these narcotics...addiction causes too many problems. congratulations if it worked for you though.
