Default Cymbalta Start-Up

My doctor started me on 30mg Cymbalta 1x/day to relieve muscle pain in my forearms and calves that has unknown cause.

For three (3) days I had grogginess, dizziness, and nausea but no change in my pain so I stopped.

Am I possibly missing out on significant pain relief from Cymbalta because I didn't tolerate the side effects long enough, or is it likely I gave it a good try and it failed to help.

Previously, I took 25 mg Nortryptiline 3x/day that cut my Norco use from 7 to 5 a day, but the disruption of urine flow and the drowsiness led me to stop it. In fact, when I stopped, I was back up to 7 Norco per day, due to an apparent tolerance.

Thanks
Ted
