I've been on Pain Mgmt for 6 years. For the past year I've been on Oxycontin, Percocet, Valium, Zanaflex, and Ambien. Due to insurance issues, they have switched me back and forth from Oxycontin to Methadone 3 times in the past 5 months.

Recently I took a routine drug test for my Doctor, which they give every 3 or so months to make sure you are taking your meds and not taking anything illegal. The results on my test 2 weeks ago showed I was positive for Dilaudid, which I have never been on or taken in my life! (Had never even heard of it until they told me I was positive for it.) They have called the Lab daily for the past 7 days to see if the switch between Oxy and Methadone could have caused any false positives on my screening, but the Lab is not returning their calls. Does anyone know or have literature to point me towards to see if any of the combination of meds I take could cause false positive results? Thanks!
