Default Coreg Side Effects

My husband is 7 weeks post valve replacement and bypass surgery. His Coreg has been increased to 12.5mg twice daily. At the same time he was switched from Zocor to Vytorin. Since then he has had very bad headaches, leg pain, and general feeling of tiredness. Does anyone know anything about these medications?

I just started taking Vytorin, but had taken Zocor for years since my heart attack. Vytorin contains simvastatin, the same as Zocor, but adds another ingredient. The symptoms you describe sound like what they tell you to watch for as the sign of a serious side effect. You should definitely tell the doctor.
