My wife is four and a half months pregnant and has eczema on her foot. She had been using Cordran Tape to treat the eczema but we discontinued use once we found out she was pregnant. Her dermatologist said she could continue using the tape after the first trimester. Our Ob-Gyn said she should be okay to use it now. It is a class C medication and reading about the possible mutagenic side effects and lack of testing on pregnant women has given us the heebie-jeebies. The spot of eczema is getting bigger and looks pretty bad. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks a lot for your time.
