Default Concerta Dosage

My daughter has recently started taking Concerta for ADHD. She is 12 years old. She started on 27Mg which she said was helping but not enough. She is now on 37mg which is better but I still don't know if she is performing in school to the best of her ability. The doctor told us to come back in three months but I am wondering if I should call and get her a higher dosage. How do you know when your child has reached the optimum dosage? I read somewhere that 54mg is the highest dosage but I also read a posting from a man whose son is on 90 mg.

I'd appreciate it if anyone who has tried different dosages with their child could get back to me.

Thanks,

Olga
