Hey.
I took a 5mg pill of codeine today.
I dont need this pill at all, but i hear about the effect and it sounds just great. I didnt feel anything at all from the 5mg. I want to try 20mg tomorrow. Should i not do this? What will happen, and what are the risks and stuff.

I don't know what you heard from the others but definitely codeine does you more harm than good when you actually don't need it at all.

It's likely that you will develop depedence on the drug with chronic use and by that time, you will become a drug addict.

Codeine brings you nothing but possibly deadly side effects in high dose:
Hypotension
Slow heart beat
Decreased in body temperature
Constricted pupils
Altered mental status
Respiratory depression
Constipation

Please stop experimenting your health with any drugs before it's too late. Numerous stories about how much patients suffering from withdrawal symptoms for opiates can be found in this forum, have a look at them and u can tell, that's not worthwhile.

The reason you didnt feel anything is because you only took one .... if you wanted to feel the pill you should of atleast taken like 3 or 4...you should get some syrup (liquid hydrocodone)(tussinex) there all the same ... and syrup taste soo good ..you can just like sip on it anll day and you would feel great!!!

My experiment in drugs lasted 25 years and I'm still battling it every day.Codiene is ???? and it will also bind you up.Don't bother with any narcotics, go play baseball and get a good education......Dave
