I don't know, but I know that to be an effective medication, there should be a certain amount in the blood stream. You should inquire as to whether or not someone can do a blood test to test for the drug... Hope this helps~

Thats wrong. Clonazepam has a half life of about 35 hours, which means that how long the drug stays in your system depends on the dose you took- half-life means that half of the dose will still be in your system after 35 hours, so if you took 2 mg, 35 hours later 1 mg will still be there, and in another 35, .5mgs remain, and so on. It is a very long-acting benzo. One with the shortest half-life is xanax, with about 11 hours as a half life. Just do the math based on the dosage he took, and I hope all will be well. At most, it should only be about a week before it leaves his system. And since it has been a couple of months, you should be in the clear.

cheers,
Holland
