Default Cholesterol Lowering Drug, Zetia
[?] Does anyone out there know anything about a drug called ZETIA? My doc wants me to start taking it & I can't find any info on it. After my experience with Lipitor & Zocor I am afraid to take it. Anyone with any info PLEASE HELP!!!

TRIED IT FOR ABOUT 8 MONTHS AND WORKED OUT O.K. WITHOUT SIDE EFFECTS OTHER THAN POSSIBLY CAUSING HAIR LOSS. DR. LOOKED IT UP AND SAID IT MIGHT CAUSE SWELLING OF THE SCALP.HE SAID HE REALLY DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE ME OFF BECAUSE IT DIDN'T CAUSE LIVER DAMAGE.
