I Thought I Swallowed All Three Pills. Took A Bite Of Toast And Bit Something Hard .turned Out To Be A Pill . Dont Know How Much Of It I Chewed.it Was A Morphine Sulfate Extended Release 40mg. What Happens If You Chew One Of These Pills?

If you've been taking them for awhile and have a tolerence then you wouldn't notice much at all.If your not used to taking them then you might feel kinda spacey and sedated.All in all you should be ok but try not to make a habit of this as it wastes the pain killing effects after a couple of hours rather then the 8-12 they're supposed to last.Hang in there...Dave

If it is something like Avinza, the little balls inside, when crushed release ALL of their potency at one time rather than over a 12-24 hour period. 40MG. is somewhat a low dose and should not bother you, but taking several and crushing them up could cause some discomfort. They are bitter are they not?

Try chewing 10(just kidding) its also know as MS contin.
If you have no opiates in you systm , maby you will feel euphoric a little.
However I've only seen the 30mg.
