Default chemotherapy question

hello. my dad is currently on a clinical trial where they administer Azacitidine one week then Valproic Acid the next on the first cycle of treatment. Then for the second cycle they add Carboplatin to the Azacitidine week. What I need to know is if any of the drugs have any St. Johns Wort dirivitives. See, he is also diabetic and the St. John's Wort is toxic to diabetics. Just recently he had a bad reaction to something that caused his blood sugar to run to the hypoglycemic side. And to us it seems that it has something to do with the chemo drugs but the doctors are very closed mouth about it and don't really to go into how the drugs could have affected him. Can someone please help me?
