Default cephalexin for UTI?

What is the correct dosage of Cephalexin 250 for a UTI?

Hi cal
The last time my doc gave me ciprofloxacim 500mg 2x a day.
That is the generic for cipro 500 mg...

Dear Cal-

Cephalexin is generic for Keflex and is used for bacterial infections such as UTI's. I'm a nurse and worked for a urology group for quite some time. Keflex, 250mg should be taken 1 every 6 hours, or as instructed by your physician.
